so, "thecheetahdude" completed the following on garageband. in recognition of his taking the time a writing such a good review, here it is.

So you guys were in the studio, and the engineer/mixer says "Give me 10 minutes to change the bass players amp." So the drummer starts playing and the guitarist does this riff and the singer just freestyles a bit. Then he sees a trumpet in the corner, grabs it a blows a few notes. Well, the assistant in the mixing room just happens to roll on it and it gets included on your cd, probably track 7 or 8, just like pearl jam and stone temple pilots used to do on their good albums. It sounds nothing like your other songs and your producer hates it, but the band member think it displays their improvisational live shows and leave it on the album. And the bass player is bumed because his amp wasn't working. Am I close?

all of that succulent alliteration, and you weren't able to work in sibilant?

Au contraire, my contrarian frere ... it alternately seduced and sedated me; my senses were sequestered, succumbing to the obsequious sequencing and slim salient slices of silence. C'est la sublimation!

Right! Somebody just hijacked Royal Trux and drove into the back of a bus from the reformatory school, just draggin along bouncin off the ground and yelpin. I hear voices and its boys from the back and did somethin just happen? I know when somethin's happenin, and I know when somethin's goin on, and somethin happenin is goin on and somethin goin' on is happenin. Sometimes I feel like no one realizes this but me, certainly not the guitar player, who might be as high as the drummer. Fortunately someone has the presence of mind to keep singin and the wavy singin is swingin and swervin around like a siren. Two Bingos later, and I miss Chrastil more than ever. Pass the syrup, it's breakfast at night!

less natalie merchant...

more poor man's lou reed.

lameness now easily "describable".

the tunelessness remains the same.

"now, with flute!"
